Certified home inspectors are not created equal. The majority are average. Some are terribly under qualified. A few certified home inspectors are outstanding. KBar Assessments, Inc. (KBar) is one of them.
Why choose KBar:
Thoroughness
With all real estate inspections we do, if the problem is there, and it is humanly possible, we will find it. Are we perfect? No, but we strive for that perfection and promise not to leave the property until we feel confident nothing was missed. Our certified home inspectors will describe in detail what defects were found during the real estate inspection and what needs to be done about it. A comprehensive report if printed by our certified home inspectors at the property itemizing and illustrating with photo the defects discovered during the real estate inspection.
Detail
Our favorite places to spend time during the real estate inspection include the attic and crawlspace. Actually there not, but KBar’s certified home inspectors will enter them, go to the farthest corners and spend the time necessary to inspect these areas crucial to the structure of the home.
Time
Many real estate inspectors do 3 or even 4 real estate inspections in a single day, spending only 1-2 hours looking at your new home. KBar’s certified home inspectors will average 3-4 hours per real estate inspection, more for commercial building inspections. KBar’s certified home inspectors will take the time necessary to go over the report with you at the end until you are comfortable with what was found and where it is. If the house is larger or older, our certified home inspectors will spend the extra time necessary to provide a complete professional real estate inspection.
We appreciated Wes's thoroughness, attention to detail, and his wonderful explanations of what he found wrong. It made the inspection report much easier to understand.
